A simple snack monitor could be a proper promoter for a healthy and self-controlled eating.
We are increasingly aware of the importance of healthy eating with less sugar and fat taken from junk food. However, that doesn't mean we are saying forever goodbye to them for the rest of the life. The problem is, it is hard to control the amount of snack eaten when it comes from a large pack, even if we intend not to overeat it.

I then came up with the physical prototype of a snack monitor that could read the real-time weight of snack and display it along with relevant information to remind users during different stages of eating. A quantified way of eating is expected to be achieved for users who want to control their diet.

The snack monitor is the project for my Physical Prototype and Computing module at UCLIC (University College London Interaction Centre) that I built and programmed the prototype with Arduino.
